It seems like I awoke one day and life changed big time, it feels different because it is! I was thinking about other recessions that I had been through and no matter how dire it was I could always find a way to sustain the roof over my head, pay bills, if only barely, but survive until the worst was over. I did this by working a part time job to supplement my frozen day job salary - yes, back then you could find a part time job rather easily.
After re-inventing my career 3 times over the last 2 recessions I never dreamed I would be in a position to have to do it again - problem is... re-invent to what? With credit frozen and the job market almost impossible all avenues have been blocked, so what does one do to survive?
I found one avenue that my be potential to an income - drop shipping. Drop shipping allows anyone to sell various products either on their own web site or an auction site like EBAY without a dime of out of pocket costs (perfect for someone out of work and out of money) now the trick is finding an actual legitimate wholesale drop shipper that isn't a middleman acting as a real drop shipper.
I have been researching this for more than a month (reason I have been absent from my blog) I have found many scammers such as sites that sell drop ship lists, sites who portray themselves as drop shippers but are actually middlemen and ebooks on how to find real drop shippers, all scams. Let me break this down for you:
1.) Sites that sell wholesale drop ship lists - no one should ever have to pay for lists - there are sites that have wholesale drop ship lists that are FREE - so do not pay for lists.
2.) Sights who portray themselves a wholesale drop shippers but are actually middlemen - these sites have either accumulated lists, bought lists from other sites or are selling their web site services or a mix of both and have set out looking for memberships for a fee.
For a monthly fee (anywhere from $19.95 to $299.00) they will give you full access to their lists and for a higher monthly fee set up a web site for you so you can sell the wholesale products, they do all the work for you. Now this sounds great except that the best wholesale prices that you should get are now marked up by the middlemen so that they can make a profit on top of the membership fee which means, you do all the work and make a lot less profit. This is not a win win by no means and if you sold your products on EBAY or other auction sites you still have to deduct those fees - so profit is scant.
Better way to go would be the real wholesale drop shipper from the free lists that you call and sign up with or someone like Worldwide Brands who has all the tools for one to succeed with real low wholesale prices and a one time fee of $299.00 that gives you everything you need to get up and running and...for a lifetime membership including your own website and or auction site, domain name, they even have a tool that tells you what products are selling and which ones aren't which maximizes your time and profits.
Now they are a conduit to the wholesalers but are light years away from the scammers, they have a pretty good rating with the BBB rating, deal with any problems quickly and have actual customer service reps to assist you with you biz including training. www.worldwidebrands.com

No Matter What Obama Does - The Media Isn't Satisfied!
Hello Everyone, I have been ill the last couple of weeks and I apologize that I haven't been able to write. I'm back and feeling 90% better!
My pet peeve today is again... the Media - The News Media has sunk to new lows - they have ZERO respect for the President of the United States, it seems that the Media's quest for the drama and top ratings has no bounds - nothing is off limits - I find this so appalling and distasteful. The Main Street Media should know better and it is quite clear that they don't.
No matter what this guy does it's never good enough, if he sounds cautious; they say...don't you think he should be speaking more positive - he then speaks more positive and they say...don't you think he was too positive, maybe he should have been more cautious - what? It isn't news when things go right - so it's their job to make things look wrong which I feel is a huge disservice to all of us. We want the real facts and not their rating grabbing rhetoric.
He decided to be with his family over the weekend to get ready for Easter instead of going to the Media's annual Grid Iron dinner, he was blasted today for choosing his family over the reporters dinner - are you kidding me????????
One day he's doing too much and the next he's not doing enough or what he's doing won't work or it's overboard or it's costing too much. I find alot of back door politicking going on from people who really don't even know what they are talking about and it makes me irate because there are people out there who are going to listen to that bull session and agree or be swayed by what they say because their only knowledge of the day is coming from the tabloid like Media hacks.
The guy has been in office only a couple of months and I for one give him alot of credit for doing whatever it may take because doing NOTHING is not an option. Bush not only did nothing for 8 years, he helped put us where we are. This economic meltdown started 28 years before with Reagan, then Bush Sr. temporary halt with Clinton then picked up speed again with Jr. - people, the Republicans DO NOT LIKE THE MIDDLE CLASS!
They have been trying to do away with us for decades - their ideology is steeped in the belief that there should only be a Rich and Poor class of people. This is fact and if you have listened to them
over the last couple of months, they actually vent that truth every time they speak.
Now, they are trying to get Obama to put aside Health Care Reform for another time and concentrate on the Economy like he can't walk and chew gum at the same time, no worry here, Obama won't do that - thank god.
For all the scrutiny he has been under I give this President super high marks to not only deliver what he promised but to have the presence of mind to ignore all of them; the News Media, the Republicans and all the other naysayers who all have their own agenda's and none of them could care less about the middle class problems or the crisis that we are embroiled in. Bravo President Obama!!!
